At Art Basel 2019 Galerie Thomas Zander presents a curated selection of photographic and related works by Lewis Baltz, Bernd and Hilla Becher, Mitch Epstein, Joe Goode, Anthony Hernandez, Candida Höfer, Helen Levitt, Anthony McCall, John McLaughlin, Gerhard Richter, Ed Ruscha, Michael Schmid, Larry Sultan / Mike Mandel and James White. The presentation includes both rare vintage prints and recent work from conceptual and documentary style photography.

Galerie Thomas Zander, founded in Cologne in 1996, is devoted to acting as primary gallery for artists work­ing in photography, who consider their practice in context with the larger concerns of contemporary art.

In the fair’s special sector Art Basel Unlimited, the gallery is proud to present the ‘solid light’ installation Split Second (2018) by Anthony McCall (in collaboration with Sean Kelly Gallery and Sprueth Magers).
