Zander Galerie is deeply saddened about the passing of Robert Irwin
As a pioneer of the
California Light and Space movement Robert Irwins practice encompasses painting and
sculpture, installations, landscape projects, and interventions in public
space. He overcame all conventions, when he began to work with light as his
artistic media to investigate and expand vision and the conscious perception of
space.
